AIMING TO TRANSFORM NORTH MALABAR

With futuristic investment goals in mind, The North Malabar Chamber of Commerce organised a captivating business investment meet – “Invest in North Malabar”- at Kochi on August 6, 2016.

Hon.Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the meet at Marriot Hotel. The event focused on possibilities of investments in health, tourism, education, agriculture, food processing and technology.Ensuring ambitious strategic framework in the North Malabar region ( Kannur, Kasargod, Wayanad districts)  Sushil Aaron, the Chamber President said that the entire region is gearing up for a significant economic surge with Kannur being declared a Municipal Corporation and the Kannur International Airport and Azhikkal Port becoming operational shortly.This investor meet is a platform to set up a sustainable and transformational environment to promote an all-round growth in the region, he added.

The meet witnessed an active participation of business leaders, investors, corporations and policy makers, while serving them a podium to understand and explore business opportunities. The keynote address was delivered by Padmasree Dr. Azad Moopen,Chairman – Great Malabar Initiative and the other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Sir E.P Jayarajan, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and Sports Govt of Kerala, Sir Ramachandran Kadannappally, Minister for Ports, Museums and Archaeology, Govt of Kerala, Padmasree M.A Yusuff Ali, Vice Chairman, Norka Roots, Govt of Kerala & Chairman and Managing Director, LULU Group, E.
