TECH IN ASIA : THE MEGA START UP EVENT

The Tech in Asia saw key players from the startup sector across Asian countries of Japan, China, and Iwndonesia to come together in Bangalore. The four stages of Entry, Developer, Scale and Investor stages were exclusive for catering the spectrum of life cycle for a startup, from ideation to launch to scale up. Bringing in the community together was a laudable effort by Tech in Asia team.The two day conference was a power pack of networks, latest market trends and discussions from thought leaders. There was an impressive line-up of world class speakers who were visionary, dreamers and doers spanning different industry verticals. The event kick-started with legendary Infosys co-founder Mr. Kris Gopala Krishnan, sharing the history of how Infosys started and why India is in a turning phase to produce more global companies at this juncture.

The conference also hosted stellar unicorn Founders of the Indian startup ecosystem and Asia’s startup ecosystem movers & shakers of entrepreneurs and investors who backed them. Ecosystem enablers brought in conversations from designing an addictive product to scaling. Dispelling the current notion of Series A crunch happening around the world, an unicorn founder who built successful companies spelt out that no matter which sector it is, an Entrepreneur and Founder must do what really matters, whether healthcare as a segment is trending or not, ensuring customer satisfaction and happiness is what counts the most. Keeping your focus on creating value is what gets funded in any downturn or an upswing economy.Tech in Asia is an eco-system which is influencing policies at various levels. It is the right time to encourage start-ups in India, if one knows the core of the business that they are starting up, have strong conviction to see through its success and knock the right people and resources to unlock the potential platforms like this is to be utilized to build, innovate and make a difference in the community and yourself as a whole.
