KFA launches new mobile app to guide upcoming footballers

The football fever is slowly gripping Kerala and recent Indian Super League matches held in Kochi was a great example of people crazily following the sport. With an aim to encourage and motivate kids to take up football, the Kerala Football Association (KFA) has come out with a mobile application to guide them.

With the assistance from Bengaluru based Addrush Pvt. Ltd, KFA has come out with a app – KFA Academy Connect – that will connect parents and students to the recognised academics and best coaches available in their area. The app will serve as a guiding platform for the parents who are looking for a proper academy in their area,” said K.M.I Mather, KFA President.

Around 75 academies and 5000 children from all over the State are registered with the academy connect programme and the app will have a complete information of the players, with details of players which will include their date of birth and matches played.

This app will prevent age fraud as the details of each player will be recorded and can be crosschecked later. Results of the matches will also be available on the app. The mobile app is now available on Google Play Store and will be soon available iOS phones as well.
