Uber to introduce flying cars; Hires NASA engineer

Mark Moore, an advanced aircraft engineer at NASA’s Langley Research Center has decided to join the one of Google’s rivals-Uber Technologies leaving the confines of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration after working with them for the last 30 years.
It was in 2010 that Moore published a white paper outlining the feasibility of electric aircrafts that could take off and land like helicopters but, smaller and quieter. The vehicle designed to provide a speedy alternative for high traffic situations.
This was when Uber had laid out a plan to introduce flying cars. Uber said that they wanted to solve problems like, noise pollution, limited battery life. Moore consulted on the paper and he was impressed by the company’s vision and decided to join them.
