According to a recent report, the market for logistics -technology businesses, which include delivery start-ups, truck aggregators and warehousing firms, is expected to surge to $9.6 billion by 2020 from $ 1.4 billion in 2015. India’s logistics sector’s primary expectation lies with the timely implementation of the goods and services tax (GST) as it will cut down the various taxes involved in the transportation of goods and services, and will also increase efficiency in the business.
