GST workshop in Cochin

The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry is organising a Half-Day Workshop on the filing of GST Return on Sunday 13th August, 2017 at Hotel Abad Plaza, Ernakulam from 10.00 Hrs to 14.00 Hrs.
It is action time. Months of discussions on understanding GST and the one-month hands on experience in implementing the same is over. It is time for filing of the first GST return.
The Government of India has been taking various steps in making matters easy for the trade and industry to file their GST returns. Yet it is necessary to understand the system requirements and also the modalities of filing the return and payment of taxes.
For the months of July and August, a summary return in GSTR 3B to be followed by detailed return under GSTR 1 has to be filed. In order to facilitate the accountants of the trade and industry and to familiarise them with the GST utility and filing of the return, the Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry has taken the initiative to organise this half-day Workshop on the13th of August, 2017.
The Workshop will be conducted by a Senior Official from the Central Excise Department who is well versed in the same. Since it is a practical Workshop, we are constrained to limit the number of participants and hence we request you to kindly register immediately. The registration fee per participant will be Rs. 1200/- (Inclusive of 18% GST)
PRIOR REGISTRATION FOR THE PROGRAMME IS MANDATORY. LAST DATE FOR REGISTRATION IS FRIDAY 11TH AUGUST 2017.
