The much awaited event of ‘FWD Power Dinner’ presented by Mercedes Benz, powered by Rajasree Motors Pvt. Ltd was held at the Crowne Plaza on the 28th of September in association with Milan, Red Fm, WKochi, ASDA and Crowne Plaza.
The glitzy evening began with our cover personality actor- politician Jaya Prada unveiling the issue of FWD Business Sept- Oct 2017 with Director Blessy, Shirley Regimon and Rejimon Padikkan of Milan, Shuvendu Banerjee, GM, Crowne Plaza, Mathew Antony, Chairman, Arun Balachandran, Vice –Chairman, Abraham Tharakan, Group Editor & CEO present on stage.
Speaking during the function, Jaya Prada who began her speech by thanking the team at FWD Media, described the event as a “wonderful moment” in her life and said she felt honored to have been chosen to be on the cover of the magazine. Contemplating on the issue of ‘women empowerment’ Jaya Prada noted that although we have made much progress, we still have a long way to go as a country and encouraged women to push forth with the understanding that old gender norms were on their way out and that nothing was beyond their reach anymore.
“Success does not come on a golden platter; you have to struggle for it,” said the actor-politician while thinking back on her own journey through the world of cinema and politics. Also present at the event along with Jaya Prada was her brother Rajababu and some of the revered names in the business community.
